Bio

Mary Rittling, Ed.D., is a professor of practice who has served as regional vice president of West Virginia University, president of Potomac State College of West Virginia University, and senior administrator at the State University of New York at Delhi. In August 2003, Rittling was appointed as the third president of Davidson County Community College in Lexington, North Carolina. In Spring 2019, Rittling retired from her 16-year presidency at Davidson County Community College and took on the role as president emerita and Aspen Institute Senior Fellow.
