| Describe the primary purpose of the work and the desired outcomes. | I am actually contacting you about working with the Belk Center. I have about 20 years of academic experience and retired in August 2022. I have worked in the healthcare sector for 45+ years, the last 11 being at Central Piedmont Community College. For the last several years I also serve on my profession's national Ethics Commission, and have written and presented locally and nationally on transition to academia; cultural humility; ethics; equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI); and ethics and EDI in the academic settings. My passion lies in education, and I would like to transition from educating the next generation of practitioners, to educating faculty and academic personnel. |
