Bio

Dr. Tracy Mancini, Ed.D., became the sixth president of Carteret Community College in 2020, after serving as their chief academic and student development officer and SACSCOC accreditation liaison for four years. She began her career as an English instructor at Durham Technical Community College. Originally from Philadelphia and New Jersey, she has lived in North Carolina for over 30 years. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the College of William and Mary, master’s degrees from the University of North Florida and Duke University, and her doctorate from Wingate University.
