Is there something in particular that you would like Co-Directors and/or Professional Learning Leaders (PLLs) to experience as faculty leaders?
I love exploring and dialoguing about high-impact and best practices around teaching and learning, and am excited to bring evidence-based practices to the table. I’m an innovative yet critical thinker, meaning I consider all sorts of ideas but apply a student-centered evaluative perspective, seeking to ensure anything and everything done in the classroom benefits students, increases their sense of belonging, and contributes positively to their learning. I’m excited to bring an outside perspective to this work while also tapping into my deep roots with North Carolina, having grown up and begun my career at a community college there.
