Bio

Dion T. Harry, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Higher Education and Student Affairs at Oklahoma State University. His research agenda focuses on the socio-political and collegiate factors that promote or inhibit the success, well-being, and joy of college students from historically marginalized and often overlooked communities. Before starting his faculty career, Dr. Harry completed his doctorate at North Carolina State University in the Educational Leadership, Policy, and Human Development Ph.D. program (Higher Education Opportunity, Equity, and Justice concentration). He is also a two-time graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Health Science (Health Promotion and Education) and a Master of Education in Counselor Education (Student Affairs). Dr. Harry also has past professional experiences in admissions, academic advising, assessment and evaluation, and residential learning.
