Nohemi Ramirez, M.Ed. is an Assistant Director of Programs and Initiatives at the Belk Center for Community College Leadership and Research at NC State University. In this role, she leads several of the Belk Center’s signature programs, including the Dallas Herring Lecture, communities of practice, and strategic statewide convenings that strengthen NC community colleges. Her work focuses on leadership development, curriculum design, facilitation, and evaluation.
Prior to joining the Belk Center, Nohemi worked in student affairs at Duke University, where she worked closely with students and faculty, as well as at Biola University in the Office of the President working on strategic initiatives.
Originally from California, Nohemi earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Biola University and her Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from North Carolina State University. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring trails, gardening, and making pottery.
