Bio
Natasha Adams Spencer, M.A., is a Research Associate for the Belk Center for Community College Leadership and Research. As a Provost Fellow and Diversity Enhancement Fellow, fall 2024 will mark her first year as a doctoral student in NC State University’s Educational Leadership, Policy, and Human Development, Community College and Career Education Ph.D. program. At the Belk Center, Natasha supports Research & Insights and the PACE Climate Survey. Natasha’s research interests lie at the intersection of increasing access to higher education opportunities for marginalized and minoritized populations, Community College and HBCU partnerships, and the Community College-to-HBCU pipeline. A proud product of the North Carolina Community College System, she earned an A.A. from Wake Technical Community College, a B.S. in Communication-Advertising from Appalachian State University (Suma Cum Laude), and an M.A. in Strategic Communication from East Carolina University.
