Colin Jones

Bio

Colin W. Jones is a Research Associate and a student of the NC State College of Education Master’s Program in Higher Education Administration. Colin is from Clayton, NC where he has spent his entire life.

Colin is a graduate of Campbell University earning a B.A. in Political Science, Pre-Law. There, he became involved in Student Government where he was ultimately elected Student Body Vice President. This sparked his love for higher education and began his career journey.

Colin’s passion for his work at the Belk Center stems from being a dual enrolled high school student along with growing up in a rural community. At the Belk Center, Colin supports the Rural College Leaders Program, the North Carolina Community College Leadership Program, Partnerships and Convenings, as well as Leadership and Learning as a whole.
