Learning from the Best: Durham Tech seeks external assessment from Aspen Institute, Achieving the Dream, and Belk Center
The Belk Center is pleased to work with Aspen Institute’s Center for College Excellence and Achieving the Dream to develop a joint approach to assessing existing institutional efforts against key student outcomes, and provide recommendations to inform Durham Tech’s strategic focus. The goal is to help the College emerge from the pandemic positioned to succeed while identifying priorities and new directions from best-in-class institutions.

This research brief by Belk Center Research Associate and 2020 graduate of the Educational Policy Leadership and Human Development Program, Sarah A. Deal, Ph.D., is the first of a series that addresses the relationship between North Carolina’s dual enrollment program, Career and College Promise (CCP), and community college attainment in the state.
