Dr. Ken Boham has served as president of Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute since 1995. Under his leadership, CCC&TI has served as a state model in the development of “seamless education.” Dr. Boham’s pioneering spirit has also led to increases in funding for significant expansion of campus facilities and technology to increase programming and services within the region.
Dr. Boham is a graduate of North Carolina State University with an undergraduate degree from East Carolina University. Dr. Boham served as Vice President for Continuing Education at Wake Technical Community College and as interim president for Mayland Community College. Currently, he is actively involved with the North Carolina Commission on Workforce Development, NC Association of Community College Presidents, and more. Dr. Boham was named Community College System President of the Year in 2003 and won the I.E. Ready Distinguished Graduate Award from N.C. State in 1998.
