Erica Andrews, Ed.D.

Bio

Erica Andrews, Ed.D. has over 20 years of professional experience in student affairs and community development. Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to social justice and equity and is committed to improving postsecondary access, retention, and success for minoritized students. Erica had the honor of being selected as a 2019 Achieving the Dream Fellow and a 2020 Belk Center Fellow for the Belk Center for Community College Leadership and Research. In her current role as a community college director, Erica provides oversight for Counseling, Career Services, and Disability Services. She has served as a long-time volunteer organizer for GirlTrek, a national health organization, and is a member of the National Council on Black American Affairs (NCBAA), a council of the American Association of Community Colleges. Erica earned an Ed.D. in adult and community college education from North Carolina State University. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology as well as master’s degrees in social work and higher education administration from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor.
